You could put it on Hotukdeals if not already - people do trade stuff there. You'll have to put up the photo of the sewing machine.0 -

Good luck - warm bread is moreish !!!
It's all luck of the draw wid me.
Sometimes I get a massive loaf (almost lifting up the lid) another time a wee thing!! (my sister burst out laughing cos you get some slices with a hole where the paddle was!!)
I am replacing my breadman junior as the pan doesn't stay down anymore whilst it is mixing so it can't mix/knead if pops up. (and your not around to shove it back down, shame as heading for the garbage.
I have loads of breadm laminated recipe cards (hopefully may be able to reuse/adapt)

I love the pizza dough recipe... Cheap and fairly effortless.
Its good to know where to get a new paddle/kneader thing from if the need arises ... or should that be the knead arises ...0 -

If nothing turns up for you in the next week or so, you can have my spare one (and I'll let you have my box....) it is missing the paddle tho but I think you can get these on ebay.
Hopefully you'll find one in the meantime.0 -
My new Kenwood has a twist action to lock the pan to the base so hopefully if might last a little longer than my old one.
My old Breadm (now in the garbage) had 2 x hinges/catches that weakened over time and the pan would dislodge so wouldn't carry on kneading in the cycle unless pushed back down!!!
I was concerned the new one would be the same after some reviews claimed this would happen mentioning hinges and said it was plasticky but it's metal.
Anyway got the years guarantee....
http://www.which.co.uk/home-and-garden/kitchen/reviews/breadmakers/page/faqs/ might be useful to peruse0 -
