it will be because your message was inside the quoted message. its not seen as a new post so thats why you'll always need to say something outside the quoted post.

    The end is nigh
  • With my coupons and compliment vouchers today, i managed to get my £58 shop down to...

    DRUM ROLL......

    £34!!!! :D
i had a lovely man serve me, he asked "have you been watching extreme couponing?" i said "yeah, how did you guess??" he said...
"because i watch it too :D" hehe.
he also made a mistake with my "free walkers crisps voucher" and it asked him to type the amount in, and he put £2 instead of the 39p quavers we got.
oops for him and YAY for me!

we have enough Washing gel and conditioner for over 100 washes now as we had compliment vouchers, lenor £1 off and ariel £1 off.
with our comp vouchers, we spent £2 in total all our washing stuff :D
got our free hovis bread (they have to type in the price of the item as the coupon doesnt specify) and it can be frozen.

i want to get stocking up for the winter period so we can save money and not go out if it snows as our car isnt very good in bad weather.
    we have a ford KA.
we shall be buying lots of bread to freeze (hopefully from the reduced section late night in tesco) and UHT milk.
:D just can't stop saving money when you hand over that first ever coupon. its like a drug!

Goals: Save £500 for emergencies, Save £200 of Amazon vouchers for Xmas, fix my holey clothes!

Same here, trying to get all the big things in now so I don't have to buy them at corner shop prices!

My car is a fiesta and it gets stuck everywhere too, must be a ford thing! last year I got it stuck twice in one day, the year before I had to call a recovery truck to rescue it from the edge of a cliff which I couldn't get away from due to ice on the road... Needless to say I won't be driving this winter!
  • it must be! i hate using corner shops, they overcharge you on everything! a loaf of bread for £1.69? terrible prices!
i get it in tesco for 55p! hehe.

my dad is taking me to booker wholesale soon to find some bits in bulk. i keep forgetting to get suet before it sells out! round here, it goes super quick, and stew isnt the same without the dumplings!!
