It's the "...id=29&zid=qv06" bit on the end. It's there to tell the server something, probably who the person was that originally arrived at the page, where they came from, if they are logged in etc. Because that info doesn't fit anyone else it causes an error, so the server sends them to the page it sends you to when there is an error.

Oddly enough, once I used the link I posted, the other one started working too. Must be because I now have a cookie from that site so it lets me see the page because the info in the cookie overrides the info on the end of the link.

Geordiejoe is IT savvy. Which is why he knew about the coding in the url address. :-)

Another newbie and agree. Only caveat, would be it's good to see a little well expressed editorial opinion occasionally, but without 'bickering' surely?

    hi zowie
sorry but why quote this very old post from 18/10/2011?
this is from a very old disagreement that has long past.

as you potter around the threads and read you'll see that everyone here now gets along well and helps each other.

I'm not sure, metalfirecracker. L'Oreal Insider are different from most in that they provide you with a password. You presumably would have to provide fake details etc to generate a second password. As well as being dodgy, is all that effort really worth it?! I'd rather stay on the straight and narrow and have companies happy to give us good offers.

Just a quick word of advice for anyone getting the latest Twinings coupon. As usual it's a tear - off card coupon, but both "50p off" at the front and the actual barcode / T&C on the back have been printed on the right hand side of the card.
Therefore if you throw away the left hand side of the card, (which has info on new products) without looking at the back, you are throwing away your MOC.
This coupon is the one currently being sent out with free samples.
It's valid until June 1st, so not long really, but better than the expired ones they sent out last year.

Hi. Does anyone know how to access the old printable coupons (no chat)thread? Just before the new one appeared there was a post containing a Tesco finest magazine PDF which gave £2 off a £10 spend on finest products. I can't find any reference to it at the beginning of the new thread. Hope that makes sense!

The Tesco Finest £2 off £10 spend voucher currently in the Real Food magazine might be being rejected at the tills - it doesn't say it on the voucher, but it might not cover reduced items.

Recently, I bought £3.50 of items on '2 for £3.50' and £6.70-odd of reduced (yellow sticker) Tesco Finest items. The total was definitely over £10 altogether, however I got a 'customer has not spent required amount' error at the till. I questioned this, but the assistant let it through anyway.

Thus, if you get a more 'computer says no' checkout assistant, you may find doing this gets you refused, as I think the 'spirit' of the voucher is for only full price or non-reduced promotion items.

I just used one, added up items as I went round which came to £10.94 , all full priced items...."computer says no"....called over supervisor ,who said to put it through manually...must be a glitch with the coupon...which I find often happens with tescos own . x
    :)
