the annoying thing after all this is that my t dont even stock five beanz!

My local Morrisons had these beans for 50p a while ago, with a big sign saying "50p Trial Price, going up to 85p soon"

I didn't take much notice of them, as I had a stock pile of Branston £1 for 4 tins.

I had a look for them today, after taking the last 5 tins from the local tesco, and couldn't find them. When I asked where they were I was told "They disappeared a couple of weeks after the offer and I haven't seen them since".

I wonder why? Did people not buy them because they don't taste nice? Did they stock up when they were 50p and so didn't need to buy them when they went up to 85p? Or did they not sell because everyone was already well stocked up with £1 Branston beans?

I managed to get a free sample tin from them and they are actually really nice:D

I think it might be a regional thing because the supermarkets around here have only just started selling them and are advertising them as this new exciting product. My mum says she is pretty sure said company sold a very similar product a few years ago but they stopped selling it. Local waitrose had loads today and you could tell they had just been put out, but I could only carry 15 :rotfl: xx

    hi das

sorry no idea where your 1st post went. but from what you've written again i'd say it may have been deleted
as you mention re sizing the coupon ( editing coupon) & printing 2 to a sheet.

but not certain, i do remember reading it earlier though so was on here

I didn't resize the coupon but change the size it prints at in the print settings, no alteration or editing of the file involved at all. :) I have seen plenty of other posts advising changing the print settings and not the actual file, being allowed previously? Also sonetimes with different printers having different drivers, they will print at different sizes to each other regardless. If you print at original size and portrait as is default half the coupon will be chopped off, including part of the barcode rendering it invalid. Some coupons (I.e Campbell's) say must be printed at actual size but as this one doesn't in the t&c I presume it's ok to change the printer settings so it prints clearly and legibly. Anyway edited my second post accordingly hopefully its not deleted again as it could help those who had difficulty saving the file xx

ETA: in the coupon FAQ in the first pages it has links to two posts advising booklet printing (which may resize the coupon) and also resizing the coupon and changing orientation if it's a PDF to get it to print clearly and fit more on one sheet of paper. If its against the rules to promote changing printer settings in this regard then these two links should be removed from the FAQ as its really confusing as to what is allowed and what isn't
