    Hi,

There are lots of coupons on ebay which seem to good to be true.

Am I right in thinking that it is not illegal to sell them on ebay but it is illegal to use them in supermarkets?

    Thanks, Helen

yes ebay hasn't yet worked out how to tell the genuine coupons from the non genuine coupons and remove those postings!

ie the ones who do not show you ANY photos of their alleged coupons but just say you to you, it does work, loads have bought from me.....

I wouldn't buy any coupons that I cannot see a photograph off and even when I receive it, it has to be a genuine one, not one printed off a website.....

or as in most case photocopied!

Went to SD yesterday and was told they wouldn't take the coupons as could not be used in conjunction with any other offer. Said thank you and walked away - they'll be on offer at one of the supermarkets again before the coupon expiry I'm sure

also the offer is stil on at superdrug they are still £1.81 making them 31p a bottle , i just went and got 2 more today for my ittle stock pile :)
    SPC 2015: #319 £10.65 / £500 Bulgaria tin
  • Went to Morrisons today and they refused the coupons on the grounds that they had nothing on the back of them. They said that they had an email from head off ice saying not to refuse coupons that were blank on the reverse. well that will go for 99.9% of all coupons then.
When I said I had a letter from head office saying that internet coupons were accepted I was told to bring the letter with me and they would accept them. Off I go tomorrow to call head office again!!!!
If it's cheap I Like it. If its Free I love it!

they are also half price at the moment so think they work out at 64p, sorry yassmin meant to say the sharwoods wrap kit but it wouldnt let me quote you

if you use the £1 coupon out of the magazine and the 50p coupon offline, that would make them 14p each (that is if you are allowed to use both coupons on the item)

I used two greens coupon in one transaction in Tesco yesterday with no bother.

Thats the way the T&C is worded; that they may require proof of purchase to prove two haven't been used in one transaction, obviously if Tesco staff want to ignore this thats down to them but other SAs may go off on one if the couponer isn't aware of this on the coupon, we all know they don't need much excuse to do that-don't want anyone being treated like a 'crim' after all xx

Its a bit of a murky area. Quite a lot of coupons do say on them or the accompanying stuff that prints out; 'not to be sold' and this includes on ebay. Also many say 'not to be transferred' meaning in my interpretation not to be printed out in the case of a personalised coupon in one person's name and then given to someone else. Its debatable as to whether its illegal but it is a murky area and one should tread carefully. Personally I don't buy coupons from ebay as you never know what you're getting xx

i'd go back in and speak with the manager. You are definitely allowed to use them with the 1.89 price of the shampoo/conditioner. They even have a flipbook behind the till showing them that they can accept the l'oreal coupons. No doubt someone just trying to be big and important when they're probably not really.

My local A (Dud) had the L'Or!al Elvive 2in1 Anti Dandruff Shampoo & Conditioner - Frequent Use for £1.34 on Friday so I managed to get them for free with the L'oreal vouchers. SA put it through as a £1.34 coupon not £1.50 but hey ho!
:D Coupons = the only money we can legally print for ourselves:D

:j A coupon for a free item that is price glitched in Mr T's to be cheaper than Sada for an apg = HEAVEN :j

    :money: total = £47.48 cc = 413 selling stuff = £23.00 Floor pennies = £5.79
