I bought a epson sx438w wireless printer, come to fill the cartridges up n they made them like you can't get into them, luckily the good old Chinese company and eBay seller provides a copy with reset chip and easy top filling cartridges for fifteen quid. Saves me loads.....SIMPLES!0

hi all... a little update for the shop list MT ... not sure if these are on so apologies if they are Honey.
Superdrug
Batiste 400ml reduced to £2.39... used moc 50p to reduce to £1.89 .. moc worked fine on 5 bottles for me
L'oreal vitalift wipes... from £4.99 down to £2.52... used moc for £2.50 bought 3 packs. The other wipes which are normally £3 in Asda and Tescos are down to £2.50 so free with the coupon.
Morrisons
Wrights Breadmix... all are still 80p so still free with this pdf coupon. The moc scanned fine for the first time ever... the cashier normally inputs number on this one.
McCains... the wedges are £1 for the cheese and onion flavour so with moc 50p.
Flora Proactive Skimmed Milk 1 Litre down to £1 so 50p with moc pdf
just out of interest for anyone with problems with L'oreal... they have changed their set up so you need to choose your favourates again... incidently i printed all my coupons for skincare, then changed my options and got new products for Studio Line and Elvive hair. You still only get 6 coupons though in total.
chilling in the garden with my almost free Bottlegreen cordial from many moons ago... was my first ever couponed item.
thanks to all for the new links for new coupons

Well done on your shop, I deleted the wrights coupons after we found out it was for a charity fund raiser only and the supermarkets were told to refuse it. Surprised they are taking it for you. They had big notices up in my local Asda0 -

I managed to use some of these yesterday. I didn't remember to save it, but found some in my other handbag. Went through no problem at all at Tesco. I too, thought it would not be accepted.
Hope you are feeling better soon MT. x0 -

I'm HOPING this is the right place, there are so many threads and this is more of a 'I'm new at this HELP!' kind of question lol.
Coupons. Rarely used them in the past, really need to use them now (don't we all!) but I get so confused by it all, especially the T&C's.
When a money-off coupon states it cannot be used in conjunction with any other vouchers what exactly does that mean? For example, if I walked into a store tomorrow with a coupon for 40p off a loaf a bread, 20p of some milk and 35p off of some cheese, but they all said 'not in conjunction with other vouchers' etc could I only use one of those coupons unless I checked out each item separately?
Also, when it says they can't be used with other promotions, discounts and only one per person I assume that means that for instance if I had TWO 40p off voucher for a tub of icecream with those conditions applied, I could only use one voucher on one tub, (rather than buy two tubs, each with 40p off) and if the item was also on offer in the store (rollback, 2for etc), that I wouldn't be able to claim my extra 40p off?
I know to you seasoned pro's these probably seem like idiotic questions and I will concede, yup, they are...but like with every new skill picked up there's a learning curve lol.
This forum has helped a lot today, I've often wondered where everyone FOUND all these coupons... I mean I might pick the odd one up in a magazine but most of the time the magazine costs more than what I could save so it never made sense to me! Having just found a couple of click and print websites I feel a bit happier... but very sad that I have no working printer right now so until I buy a new one, I can click and not print lol!
Oh, one more finally, (oops), am I right in thinking the majority of coupons for money off and savings are 'in-store use' only as opposed to being able to be redeemed online? Because me and my disabled mother do a monthly shop each, (I'm the one with the computer so I order her shop to be delivered to her house etc), we always do it online because I don't drive. However if I could reduce the grocery bills enough to make it worth doing smaller shops in-store, then obviously I would.
Please don't shoot if I'm in the wrong thread, just point me in the right direction and I'll rectify it!0 -
hi. i noticed on mysupermarket that finish quantum 20 + 100% free (40 tablets) were on offer in asda. has anyone used / or know whether the quantum coupon would be accepted for this item. just wondering if anyone knew, as i didn't want to waste ink for it if it wouldn't be!!

Mayfair I have put my answers in a different colour throughout your post; hope it helps

Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer means an offer on that particular item, not offers on other items in your shop. Also what they tend to mean by this is not in store offers; but other coupons. It is very rare that T&Cs allow for two coupons to be used on one product in the UK, the only exception are the type of coupons sent by companies if you complain about a product etc, sometimes the T&C allow for two of these to be used on one product.
Yep if it says one per person you can only use one with such an offer and you'd lose out on the in store offer (if it was indeed a multibuy offer). Similarly if it says only one per transaction; the same applies. There are also a specific type of smart coupon, the ones with the couponstar logo on where only one of any 'like' coupon can be used per transaction; this now applies in most Sainsbury's stores and some Tesco stores as well now. Again this means that they are pretty much useless for multibuys but still you can get some good value out of them if used on 'straight' reduction offers on single items.

I find the odd coupon here and there in free in store magazines/newspapers like waitrose weekender; also the online ones I signed up to the companies that are well known for frequently issuing coupons, via email. So when they bring out a new coupon I get an email. Some coupons are even email only so you won't get to hear of them unless you're signed up to the email list.

I have heard of some smaller tesco stores/distribution centres accepting coupons for online shops; but not for any other supermarket and the majority of tescos don't do this as it is too complicated. The exception is the tesco price drop leaflet; the codes on the vouchers can be used online too, and they can be stacked. However don't throw the online shopping baby out with the bathwater, so to speak. Sometimes the voucher codes online for money off a shop, and the special offers mean that an online shop is still a great option some of the time. I do a mixture of both.
