  • I went to Tescos last night with a variety of vouchers, Safe coupons, Tesco JTD, the £5wys voucher, McCain print out, cut out from a magazine voucher. The girl took the £5wys, Tesco JTD, magazine cut out, but told me they had stopped accepting internet print outs!!! I was a bit put out by this and told her they were accepting them two days ago, so she went to check and the supervisor said all the managers were in a meeting and to put them through as long as they weren't photocopies (!). So TBH I don't know if I will be able to use my internet print outs in the future, i'll be gutted if so.

Oh, and she also wouldnt let me buy the £4.99 Dettol Handwash with the £5 voucher - she said it wouldnt go through as it the voucher was more than the product!

    This was at W£st D*rringt*n

tesco can be annoying if you have a voucher for a certain amount and your product is 1p less. usually if your buying something else with it it works. had to do that in holland and barratt before.

I found this with superdrug. Their tills are not allowed to accept coupons that are less than the value of the product, so always worth buying a few things to take it over, maybe upto £1.

I noticed at Morries last night that the same applied to the coupon not scanning because it was for 1p more than the item cost. She tried keying the code in manually - no joy - then, realising the 1p problem she overode it somehow.
Same happened last week with another coupon with a 1p difference.

Asda price guarantee - feel sure that you could check receipts after 3 hours during the week but when I tried today it said after 6 next morning again ....

I have got 2 receipts, one my own I am desperate to see the results of :D

One of these is for £127 but no £5 MOC - just wondering wether I am cheeky enough to go to CS ;)

In store this morning they had green leaflets at the tills so if anyone spent over £40 they automatically got the extra £5 off even if they had not got a print off £5 MOC - can you imagine Tesco doing this - or even have piles of price flop leaflets next to the till in case anyone bought products in the right catergory ;)

You NEED to read the DRIVEL thread - last 2 or 3 pages, last 2 or 3 days.

The "GREEN LEAFLET" is EXACTLY that - a LEAFLET - informing you about getting a £5 coupon FROM the £40 shop you have just done to use the next time you spend £40.

It's NOT a coupon and not used as one.

SAs DO SCAN the leaflet - Barcode 5051413602553 - but it doesn't take anything off

The receipt will say LEAFLET 505141360255 £0.00D

It's to ensure that customers know what to do with the receipt they have been given

Ta for this, I dont normally go to the drivel thread and I can see why now, after numerous pages I lost the will to live .....:D

But looking at this receipt now it does look like the green leaflet was scanned, the bar code is there and came up at 0 so in theory I should go and see CS.

I've also got another long receipt dated the 30th. Does anyone know when these green leaflets were circulated? Sadly its from the same store and I think its only me (not my OH) who would be brave enough to CS
