how are you peeps getting loads of moc's from ssm i printed one for laundry products and i'm getting 'print limit reached'
    Wins: 2008: £606.10 2009: £806.24 2010: £713.47 2011: 328.32
  • i know mt about the tropicana I had saved up around 20pts and a john lewis tea towel wasnt cutting my mse mustard! at least this coupon is useful, last yr they had the free seeds from thompson and morgan too so am going to keep eyes peeled:)

Ps: if anyone has any tips for refuelling printers cheaply they wld be gratefully received. I have a canon pixma, free from maximiles, but turns out black ink cartridges are around £15-£20. last time got a canon cartridge via staples for £7 delivered thanks to a grabbit, i need to get one for £10 max asap so I can print off the rest of mission control coupons. Paid the price in ink for all those 50p gu coupons methinks!

i have a canon pixma i have had it for about 2 years and all i do is refill the cartridges when thay are nearly empty i have not brought a new one yet. if you look on youtube it will show you how to do this if you do not know how. hope that helps a little bit.
  • hi mhoc
i used the tesco ones yesterday, with no problems , they scanned ok too

QUOTE=mhoc;51188597]The coupons themselves are a bit worrying. Some I printed off on Saturday fro Sainsburys had a section
    to the consumer
    to the retailer

But the ones I printed yesterday for Tesco had a worrying blank right hand corner and much less terms and conditions, only
    to the cashier

I am worried that the ones from yesterday will get rejected because they look different[/QUOTE]

Nightmare trying to scan coupons at sainsbury, till wouldn't take more than 1 coupon despite me having the right number of products per coupons.

After a long debate ended up having to put every single item through individually on self scan, and even then some of the coupons had to be entered manually (it definitely didn't like amb pur).

    Hoping tesco is better!
  • hi LS
    tesco scanned ok for me

with sainsburys though even before this latest SSM promo started
people have had trouble using SSM coupons in S's seems regardless of what coupon says they've set a limit on till so you can only use one of each

  • Some Mr S have the software on their tills set up to only accept one couponstar coupon (regardless of if they are SSM ones or not) of each type per transaction. So say you have two bold crystal rain coupons, one of them won't scan nor can it be entered manually if you try to use them both in one transaction. This pretty much writes off using them on most special offers, the only ones they can be used for is straight up reductions in price on individual items xx
  • Another thing you can do is go to customer services and insist they put ur stuff through there in several transactions, they will usually say they can't put through on CS but once you explain how their normal tills don't take couponstar coupons properly they will oblige and they have more override capability on CS till. Another poster on here has also said if you try and use more than one in a transaction and they inevitably don't scan, you can go to CS afterwards say look these wouldn't scan but my others would and they will refund you for them, not tried that myself though xx
  • Btw talking of SSM MC app once you get all the stickers and print all the coupons, is that it? Seems a bit self limiting to me, surely it should get reset once a month or something like Unilever VIP? Xx

I did get taken to customer services, who huffed and puffed and eventually said she would put them through individually. However, she had a queue, was on her own and there was only 1 till, and I knew it would take ages, so offered to go to self scan.

Just come back from tesco, they all scanned in there perfectly. :T
