My son made 10 rolls from the mix. They are delicious. Very easy to make. Will be out to 'buy' some more!

BUT it was the same till in the same store that I used on Thursday and Friday and it definitely didn't do this on my last 5 visits with identical (except UNSALTED today - SALTED previous) purchases on each occasion

In that case - random! I have used self scan once, which was for unsalted lurpack, and it worked fine. Other than that, I actually prefer the manned tills, and go to those every time.

Another day, another hideous run in with a Tesco Trout.

Are they "comparable" with Sardines in tomato sauce ?

If I were to buy any they would be for my father who quite likes the old tin of Sardines.

Can't say I'm a big fan of them myself

Well as you can imagine they do taste different from the sardines but I enjoy both and there'e loads of tomato sauce I should think your Dad would enjoy them for 30p if he didn't give them to the Cat lol

  • In the tesco pricenews magazine there is a coupon offering £1 off "Butters + Spreads" when spending £3 or more. I looked on tesco site under "Spreads" and it lists jams, marmalade, etc. Does this mean I can buy 3 x £1 jars of marmalade and use the the coupon to reduce the total to £2? (I was tending to think of "spreads" as just being marge and butter).

Wrights Ciabatta mix is 75p at Mr S and the mixed grain mix is 85p so if you buy both and use 2 coupons = free!

Can anyone recomend the cake mixes? I've not tried them yet!

looking at the picture on the coupon i'd say its spreads as in utterly butter etc

These were originally £1.99 then .99 now 30p in Morrisons not sure if its Nationwide I had these in Morrisons Baglan I hope they are nice I bought 5 tins Lol

I bought two, one tomato and one pepper sauce, I'll have one for my lunch, and if they are nice I'll go back and empty the shelf.

For some reason I was expecting 125g tins not 200g ones, so a nice surprise when I saw the size of them.
