To enter Like the Lidl Facebook page and select the Competition tab on the left hand side - you have to allow the app access to your information to play.

To play you need to select 5 friends, then select a shopping item for each of them, they will then get a notification and be asked to allow the app and guess which item you have selected for them.

Only if all 5 friends participate and guess the item correctly you are entered into the draw.

Prizes

Winners are selected by means of a lottery, drawn at random and closed to the public. During the competition period, £50 of shopping vouchers are available to be won daily, provided that the conditions under “Participation” and “Distribution of Prizes (Daily Prize)” have been fulfilled (“Each one of your friends correctly guesses their product”). The winner of an additional prize (a month’s free shopping in a Lidl UK store to the value of £500) is also drawn from all the participants during the entire competition period. (The additional prize is awarded in the form of Lidl shopping vouchers).


Participation

No purchase is necessary for participation. Purchasing goods does not result in any advantage to the participant. The participant must follow the instructions as given on the pages of the Facebook competition application (“Pack a Lidl shopping bag for 5 friends. If all 5 guess “their” product correctly, you could be in with a chance of winning a £50 shopping voucher”). The daily prize can only be won if all 5 chosen friends select the correct product within the allocated time frame (24 hours). If these friends do not respond to the “App Request” and fail to unpack their shopping bag within 24 hours, the competition time frame expires and the user receives a notification of their results. The “App Request” cannot be completed if a friend has fully deactivated platform applications and blocked connections with all applications and websites within their privacy settings.
Only fully completed entry forms can be accepted for participation in the competition. Users are permitted to participate under a pseudonym. If prizes do not arrive successfully due to the provision of incorrect personal details, the participant loses their entitlement to the prize.

We've all stood in the supermarket aisles and seen products we know one of our friends would just love.

So, just pick a product from each of the 5 categories and put it in your Lidl shopping bag for one of your friends - then send it to your 5 friends. If all 5 of your friends pick the product you chose for them out of the bag, you could be in with the chance of winning a £50 Lidl shopping voucher!

I could not get this to work properly in Google Chrome, it didn't send the notifications to friends, the screen to confirm you wanted to send it flashed up and disappeared without giving me chance to select them so they didn't get the requests.

It worked fine once I switched to IE.
