Just to add, I am a UK 6.5 I wear size 6.5 (if they have it) or 7 in Office (6.5 can pinch but looks cuter!) a size 7 in Topshop and I can get a Birkenstock size 38 and it just about fits perfectly. Fitflops are a size 6.

The problem I have is my feet are wider rather then longer, this is why I get larger sizes which fit me better. Clarks for example offer a wider sized shoe and I can go down a size or half a size.

    With Uggs, I am a size 5.5

Its likely this is due to the skins giving and the sheepskin inside gradually flattening with age (not massivly so anywhere other then on the sole). In addition to all naturally made clothes and footwear giving over time (jeans for example?) Add this all together and you get shoes that may seem a tad snug for a few weeks but once you've worn them in seem to fit perfectly. I guess the rest is all a matter of personal choice, some people like their boots clumpy and massive others prefer a tighter fit, just make sure they are long and wide enough on the sole (inside rather them measuring them at the outter sole/base!) and the rest seems to sort of take care of itself.
  • I'm different size in Leather Uggs like the Bellvue compaired with the normal classics.

(Link ebay rather than shop for Bellvue example so not plugging retailers)

My boots arrrived today, to confirm they are defo 100% youth sizes :p
  • Keep an eye on this site: http://www.natureshop.co.uk/

A few weeks ago I bought my kids Emu Bronte High for £29 and Bronte Low for £27. They had Kids/Youths Stingers for £44. Ladies Stingers (which are the same as Uggs but without the label!!) were £89.

I see the price has gone up an they have sold out of some things - not sure if that was because of my thread - but it is worth keeping an eye on because they were the same price last year.

I bought my kids the Bronte, I bought DD real Ugg Australia boots last year but they were ruined within a few weeks, I've been quoted £25 to have them cleaned (as I wanted to flog them on eBay) but not sure if it is worth it tbh, the Bronte are made of suede with a merino wool lining and are much, much more durable for children, my kids wear them without socks in rain and snow and, if treated, they will last the entire Autumn, Winter and start of Spring. I cannot say the same of the sheepskin Uggs - sadly.
  • Also to add, some of them seem to come from NZ but I was never charged customs duties, they say they are pre-paid and postage was free as well. I even mucked up on ordering the wrong sizes and an email over to them and they sorted it out. Very good.

I still have my Bailey Button talls hidden in the shed after I got them on 3 for 2 last year. They will be making an appearance sometime soon :D however, my Kensingtons are still going strong, as are my BB shorts. :D
  • Thank you so much OP.

I got mine today from the Ugg UK site. I am a size 5 and ordered the youth size 5. Perfect fit plenty of room. Great way to get uggs cheap!!!:j

The husband, LOL, don;t want him thinking I spend *that* much money on boots. They are my one and only vice - I do feel guilty though. Last year I got Kensingtons, Bailey Talls and Bailey shorts for £298. Sigh.

Just going to clean my Kensingtons with some dubbin - they are the best boots EVER!! :heart2: :heart2: :heart2:

as these are youths does anyone know if they are slimmer round the calf area? i have chunky calfs but only size 4 normally so just wandered if i'd struggle to get the 'tall' boots on? thanks
  • My size 2 Kensingtons are snug when I have skinny jeans tucked into them, and I have quite skinny legs.
