hi all, bit of a dilema.
i have 2 CC.
1. EGG balance £1200 0% int finishes nov when balance will be £1100

2.nationwide balance £1000 0% int finishes aug 2012.

i have been paying £100 to eacg every month and foolishly thought i'd easily grt a new 0% card in nov to carry on the egg card, but have been turned down by tsblloyds.

i've alreadt requested a limit increase on the nationwide card, and explained why i want it(to transfer the egg balance to) and am waiting reply.

if they say no,what is the best plan?

i worry about applying for too many cards.

i am thinking i should stick with egg, reduce the DD to nationwide to the minmum while on 0% and put the rest of my £200 budget to the (then) interest incurring egg card??

i don't have other debts apart from mortgage btw.

any advice welcome

thankyou.

  • I would focus on paying off the Egg card first reducing the payments to Nationwide to the minimum. Once the Egg is cleared then get the Nationwide card cleared.

Do you have any scope to increase your payments by reducing other costs such as supermarket shopping etc?

    best of luck :)
