Hello all,

Thanks to some advice I saw on the forum a few months ago I have been successful in appealing to the HMRC about unpaid tax from the year 2007-08. This was due to switching jobs halfway through the year and my personal allowance being applied twice.
Needless to say I am very happy so if anyone needs a template letter (which was itself based on one I saw on here I think) then feel free to Private Message me

Good news indeed.
I have just had esc a19 on tax for year 2009/10 for £1165 granted.
See my other post.
Am awaiting info re 2010/11 claim (assessment only at this stage) and will have a go for this for their incompetence if needed.
Reply in 3 weeks so good going but they are going to hassle me with self assessment form for this year so await that.
