Waitrose seasonal items reduced

Have been keeping an eye on all the summer seasonal goods in my local, been reduced by up to 50%, some stuff is now 60% - 75% reduced - citronella candles in various sizes; polar 'coolbag' lunchbags; acrylic glasses, plates, salad servers; barbecue fuel/lighters/cleaner; large acrylic drinks jugs - will depend on what your local has left in stock I suppose, but worth a look - its all good quality stuff. I am fortunate enough to have access to two different Waitrose stores, and it never fails to amaze me how their prices vary on clearance items and reductions on sell-by-date products.
Must be down to individual managers I suppose, and stock levels in that particular store.
Not just by a few pence or pounds, but often one is selling something at only 10% of the price the other has it on sale for, and it not always the same store which is cheaper than the other
I checked out one tonight and had a browse at their clearance items, but nothing immediately took my fancy. Plan to check out the bigger store tomorrow (well today now!) to see what they have and at what prices.
