 Typical. Was in Adams today and spent £50 of vouchers at the old £5 for 500pts rate. Now down to £3 for 500pts on the Nectar site and our local Adams looks like it's going to close. Again the only reason I saved Nectar was so I could get the clothes as they're not bad quality for the price, and at least it was a decent redemption rate. Probably one of the reasons Adams are in the trouble they are in...?0

I ordered some from nectar last week which haven't turned up yet, hope these will be £5 in value.
looks like we will all have to save them for the summer promo which i imagine will make them worth £4.50 each if they work it at 1 1/2 times face value like last years offer.BARGAINADDICT

Oh no, this is not good news.
The only reason I shop at Adams is because of the Nectar scheme.0 -
The reason we changed the redemption value is because when customers redeemed nectar at £5 adams not only lost that product but also had to pay £3 to process each voucher. Its gone down to £3 to help cut costs in the company and hopefully keep us open!0

Please note that due to an unforeseen technical fault with the chip and pin functionality, it is currently not possible to redeem Nectar points straight off your Nectar card in adams kids stores.
For the foreseeable future and so that collectors can continue to enjoy redeeming their Nectar points at adams kids stores, the previous voucher reward has been reactivated.
so get in there quick to covert 500 points to £5
That seems to apply to the fact they had hoped to move completely away from using vouchers & just swiping the card instead, but due to the technical fault they are having to go back to offering vouchers. This message was up before the voucher value changed.
Shame, it would have been nice if it did mean we could still get £5 worth.0 -
