Might be off to York at the weekend so please can you leave something in store for me please! And in Tesco as well.

Bargains are very thin on the ground in my bit of Cheshire.

Then another thought occurs to me what about knaresborough and Harrogate as well. We used the train last time we went up and did York and Leeds and Harrogate bargain hunting!

I went into our boots its the Yardley lavender
range that has the free gift. You can chose
    between a candle,umberella or a towel.

It stated buy ANY yardley lavender product
    and pick a free gift.

So with this in mind and noticing that on the
website the Yadley lavender gift sets are 75% off
with a free gift.I searched tound ours for one
found one sat in a basket almost behind the till.
so took it and went to another till.

In our store they only had the towels on
the display stand. So grabbed a towel and
tried my luck.Well the superviser had to do
a till over ride to get it to work but the
£9.95 set I bought I got for £2.50 inc the
    towel.

Its worth mentioning here it does not exclude gift sets
or minatures as you would expect.

    nice towel too

I tried this in my local store, loads of Yardley sets at 75%, but the till wouldnt accept it, I was told it had to be a normal Yardley product. Also tried the 3 4 2 offer on the reduced no7 bags and it wouldnt work.

How much are ordinary Yardly products and where would I find them? I could not see them on boots.com. Do they do simple things like soap or shower gel

  • Pretty much nothing left in the 75% off sale in either of the 2 Boots stores in Plymouth city centre now (but the smaller one has a stock of £1.50 Botanics body buffers still). Also, no signs up in either store advertising the BOGOF No7 sun care products.

NB - As well as the 100 points on Botanics voucher at the back of the H&B magazine, there's also the 100 points for Boots cold and flu items. These items are only 99p in store so effectively being paid 1p to take them away!

Any bargains left in Oxford street, London? I'm plenning to go there today and wonder if it's worth a try.

I was in the small Boots store next to Bond street yesterday. They had loads of the Burgandy bags left @6.50, but you can use a 5.00 voucher and just pay 1.50 for it. Also, lots of No7 gift sets left. Not sure if they still have them today though.

I had to laugh when I read this. It makes perfect sense to me, but I know if I showed it to DH he wouldn't have a clue what we are all talking about. He says Bootsing is as complicted as trading exotic bonds and we should all be working in the City! :rotfl:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Today my boyfriend came shopping with me. I left him drinking coffee in Costa's and went to Boots - came back with a bag full of stuff and he said "how much did that cost"? "Effectively 50p" I replied, to which he responded "DO you actually ever pay for anything"? :rotfl: (not if I can help it!)

Noticed the other thread has gone so I'm posting this here instead.

3 shaun the sheep hot water bottle covers on 75% off shelves at Boots, Great Bridge (West Midlands).

Loads of cappucino sets, some country gardening sets with jug? - not much of much else left there.

Theres about half a dozen bagpuss hot water bottle covers in West Brom store but they are with the others and no sign of the green christmas stickers plus part of the tags have been removed (they were perforated and have been torn off) Price says £15 on the shelf tag so I assume not included in the 75% reductions.

Edit: Just noticed the Bagpuss ones are £7.50 online, They not have more stuff in the sale section but most of the mens gift sets are full price.

I reckon the in store sale stock has gone faster than usual cos theyve sentit all back to sell at full price online:rolleyes:

I overheard the no7 Sa in hanley talking to another about the loophole with the suncare bogof and the 342 offers and how they should overide it manually to stop it.
I chose the glossy locks spritz and another lip/shimmer from suncare +1 nailpolish put it in my basket and walked off and they were staring.I paid at the pharmacy and also had hair colour£.3.98 3 reduced tic tacs at 18p each and boots chesty cough med £2.19 bogof so chose sore throat sweets with it.Used my mag voucher for 100 points on boots cough med and the £5 no7 voucher -paid £7.71 saved £17.35 and recieved 156 points+a no7 voucher again. So don't pay at the no7 counter for the suncare loophole!!!!!

Just re-iterating a post that I posted on Monday. This thread has been very active so just incase anyone missed the NATURAL COLLECTION EYE SHADOW OFFER.

Advantage point machine offers vouchers for 50 points if you buy ANY NATURAL COLLECTION EYESHADOW - SINGLES OR DUOs.

NORMAL PRICE OF SINGLE = £1.69 but they are currently on offer for 99p

    Therefore: Eyeshadow = 99p
Points back with voucher = 50p
= EYESHADOW EFFECTIVELY COSTING YOU 49p.

    Happy Shopping!!!

My Boots are doing this offer too but the AC machine actually had two extra points vouchers - one for 50 points and one for 25 points - both can be used togeter, effectively taking the final price to 24p!
