Only 1 body bar left in my Boots today  so the next cheapest thing I could find was in the mens Botanics range - antibacterial shave gel @ £1:37 stocked up on the big tubs of nourishing cream & body butter as my freebies, got 50 extra points for spending over £5 on mens botanics via a mailed voucher), also used a 100 point voucher (both went through :j ).

Did spend well over an hour in Boots (my hubby gave up & went and sat down in the pharmacy chairs to wait for me :rotfl: ) but I came away with nearly £130 of stuff for £27 :j

Anyone near to Prestatyn, they have the 99p body bars.

Tried to pick one up in Rhyl, the dark green wouldn't go through on link save but they had 1 pale green and that worked ok.

    For your information.

If anyone living in Bristol, I found more than 10 of body bars at Boots (Triangle: Queens Road, Clifton). And also loads of magazine too. I took 3 of them already within 2 days and felt shy to take more.

I will wait till Monday to take some more mag and Botanics items. Hope SAs who work on weekends not the same as weekdays staff.

I'm quite new to this thread but spent ages reading pages of previous posts to get a feel for things before I posted. It must be a little annoying for the long-term-Bootsers to see the same questions posted over and over again when all is required is a little read through.
About as annoying as catching man's best friend in the zipper! :)

First time a question gets repeated it's understandable, but by the tenth or twentieth time it starts to get infuriating.

Re: earlier posts on the quality of the Botanics range...

I'm constantly amazed that Trading Standards haven't given Boots a good kicking for harping on about the "Botanical" benefits of the range, given that the overwhelming carrier base of the products are cheap synthetic ingredients. Perhaps "The Power of Chemical Plants" would be a more accurate description!

Anyway, tried a couple of the Anti-ageing moisturisers and they almost instantly made my skin tingle, so I'll be returning them in the future.

The eye cream is OK, but (as with the moisturisers) contains that awful glitter (aka light-reflecting particles!) which renders it fairly unsuitable for the boys.

The only decent Botanics moisturiser I've ever used was the Mens Intense Recovery cream (£8.75), but that seems to have been dropped from the new updated mens range.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I had a meal deal today - shapers sandwich, packet of nuts & a water
I had found a 20% voucher off delicious fruits nuts & seeds in the green "feel healthier " change one thing booklet - so i was thinking it might work with the meal deal - it did i got 20p off so paid £2.79
I also paid with luncheon vouchers (from doing pinecone surveys) so there is no truth in the saying "there is not such thing as a free meal" !!!

The icing on the cake was the little booklet inside the packaging of the sandwich with a change one thing logo on it has vouchers for
    1/2 price walkers baked crisps
    1/3 off all ribena
    1/3 off coke zero
50p off any shapers sandwich or wrap
20% off delicious fruits nuts & seeds
    all valid till 1/2/07

i also found the last body bar in the shop & a moisturiser i use
2 X boots sore throat sweets
    so i got 200 extra points & a £3 shampoo & £5 ruby & millie voucher + another magazine

tried to use the £5 ruby & millie voucher for a £5 ruby millie nail file but it didnt work so just got another magazine

I am off the boots at lunch time on monday & bf has been dispatched to another branch

must add - No7 Pre-Holiday Brightening Body Buffer to my list i think its great too

    See you all there!! :j

ta didn't realise boots took luncheon vouchers very useful as I do pinecone too! thanks a lot
