Gettin_me_own_back wrote:Oh no, made hubby get an advantage card and hes just rung me from Boots near were he works saying he had just popped in for a sandwich and that tonns of stuff was reduced so he had filled a trolley. Also said I was going to be very happy with stuff he had bought. He rang because he wanted the pin number for his advantage card. Bless him, had to explain it to him, how it worked. Did not have the heart to tell him not to bother with purchases.
Have about an hour to hide stuff I have already bought today.
Think I will have to change my user name to
"funded by boots and tesco r and r"
Wow, you are so lucky :j wish my hubby would do that.
Not sure if this has already been posted, the Charlie gift sets have 50p off vouchers inside the boxes and are valid till April2007

Quick question .. in order for the £5 no7 voucher to work on the sale items does the SA have to over ride it ... or when she scans it did it come off automatically? ... am thinking if i buy enough items the sa will not realise what iv bought an just scan it."Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone, and do not be troubled about the future, for it has yet to come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering"0

Well I've gone mad today, bought things I never knew I needed. I returned 6 time delay items and sa said that's £28 and some pence to spend.
I got 2 x no7 make up sets £15 to £3.75
1 x no7 skincare set £3.75
1 x mens gift set can't remember which one £18.00 to £4.50
a murder mystery tin £15 to £3.75
loads of fresh cosmetic bags and bath bombs
some sets with bodyspray perfume and lipgloss I think they were called "so" approx £1.75
Anyway spent my credit amount plus £13 but forgot to split so only 1 no 7 voucher.
Then got 5 x kangol bath bombs, had been £6 - £1.50 each for my dd's b'day gifts instead of party bags
got a Kangol gift set with hat had been £15- £3.75 and a make up bag with lipgloss etc so spent £5.50 and got another voucher.
Used a voucher on NO7 gift bag with lipsticks on and paid £1.50
I then had to leave as couldn't cope any more!!!!!
Met lovely lady who was advising me on best bargains- this was in Hull near odeon so if it was you Hello!
So for less than £20 spend in real money plus returns I got about £200 of stuff.
Will try another boots tomorrow!0
