Theres nothing stopping you from making however many transactions as you are the customer.This is not a dig at you honest just i work at the tills and i happily split transactions for the customers although we dont have to.

Hi Zoe, I complained to customer services, and they said Boots will think about giving more vouchers will more transactions (cant see it happening but was nice to say so). The poor woman on the till was harrased enough and i wouldnt have done 11 transactions - but it was the very principle of the matter. The SA was actually an absolute gem, and I do know how very nasty some people can be to waitresses/SA's about things out of their control and would NEVER complain about something like that to them! Its the management who needs sorting out! Hope that clears that up!



EDIT:JUST SPOTTED IN MY REPLY THEY STATED "Should you wish to purchase items individually to gain the maximum benefit of the offer, our staff in store will be more than happy to do this for you."

I didnt notice that until after I had made the transaction - and apparently it does work fine...Ive done it 3 times (i actually needed the eyeshadow not the points!!) If they say anything just say you didnt read the voucher - and the old "it worked for my friend the other day"....how do they know we're not friends!!

Suncare BOGOF/ 342 working today in Birstall, Leeds, where there are still plenty of the burgundy bags. SA bemused, but the long queue put her off querying it.

The 250 pts voucher inside says 'not to be used with any other offer or voucher'. Is it being refused with the £5 off voucher?

i have just called up customer services about the rude Sa at the pharmacy in my locol boots.Spoke to 2 lovely ladies who apologised and assured me thatit would be passed on to the manager of that branch.I told her how small and embarrased i felt at the way she spoke to me and i mentioned that mystery shoppers wouldn't be impressed! I also had a nice chat to the lady who was a senior manager at the call centre about the Staff attitudes to everyday shoppers like us who love boots and love the offers -she said boots want shoppers like us and don't mind at all but that she would look into retraining staff because boots do not like having upset customers.That was good enough for me, she gave me her name and ref so if i have problems in future i can just call her form the store!!(she asked for my address and phone number at the end)

i have just been to my boots and the suncare is advertised as buy 1 get 1 free and no 7 items as 2 for 3 how does 6 for 1 work on the suncare.

or have the other stores got their signs mixed up and the wrong way around?

i managed to get 2 glossy locks spitz priced at £5.50 each paid with a £5.00 voucher so this cost me 50p. there were no lip/eye things left or body buffers either.

also tried to get the boots cold/flu which is reduced to 99p handed over the coupon for this and the sales assistant refused it stating it was for max ones, which are priced at over £3.00.

the only good thing was i brought some tampax for £1.98 and there is a offer on them for a free nail treatment at a salon near you and ends in august.

if anyone buys colgate toothpaste there is a offer on at the mo (£2.28 each) buy one get one free.

i brought the 99p nautral eyeshadow but at the bottom of the receipt it says offer points 50 then points received 23?

now im exhausted and

Santers helper- hi no7 currently have 2 promotions the first is 342 on all makeup and skincare and the 2nd is bogof on suncare.If you had purchased 3 items from suncare or 2 suncare and 1 makeup item you would have still paid for 1 as the till will take into account both offers- it will deduct £5.50 for the first suncare items as it is on bogof and then deduct another amount for the 342 therefore charging you for 1 item only.You could then use the no7 voucher to pay whats left off.Its easier to understand once you have tried it - its possible to buy 6 suncare items only and only pay for 1 aswell because the till will again deduct 3 lots of prices for bogof and then a further 2 for the 342 offer so you pay for 1.
The cold&flu works on any boots cough/cold med even the boots brand vicks thing so you were misled ther by the Sa
The offer points you recieved would have been the eeyshadow points and then the 23 for the remainder of your shopping.hth

Just received the £16 No7 voucher through the post, and I am wondering if this can be used in conjunction with the 6for1 - i.e. get 6 suncare things, and pay for the one with the voucher, and so getting it free??

Also, any suggestions as the best way to use a £16 No7 voucher to get the most out of it?
