I had a problem with Botanics today - there was a foundation reduced to £1 but it didn't link save. Unfortunately as I was buying 6-4-1 suncare in the same transaction, I didn't notice which one hadn't worked until too late.

I guess I'll have to give customer services a ring - they've always been very good in the past with offers that didn't work out.

Well i bit the bullett and did my Bootsing today. No soaps or buffers left on Botanics so it cost a bit more, forgot to use 100 points coupon from mag also but still over the moon with my buys.

    Transaction 1

Guiness gift pack (originally £10) cost £2.50
    Botanics bodywash cost £3
Botanics golden glow body lotion cost FREE
    Total £5.50 Saving £11.79 Got 22 points plus £5 No 7 voucher

    Transaction 2

Manicure set (75% off) cost £3
Exclaimation played perfume (75% off) cost £1.72
Calming bath soak (75% off) cost 0.75p
    Total £5.47 Points 21 Another £5 No 7 voucher

    Transaction 3

4 x mans Botanics shave gel cost £1.37 each total £5.48
1 x Botanics night shift moisturiser (should be £5.99) FREE
1 x Botanics enriching body cream (should be £5.49) FREE
1 x Botanics response moisturiser (should be £4.99) FREE
1 x Botanics day moisture lotion (should be £3.99) FREE

    Total £5.48 Saving £20.46 21 points got £5 No 7 voucher

If i've worked it out correctly i got £66.01 worth of stuff for £16.41.

Admittedly it could have been done a lot better but i'm still pretty chuffed with what i got. Going to go try the No 7 suncare stuff tomorrow as i have got 3 x £5 No 7 voucher plus 3 x £3 haircare vouchers.Any ideas best way to use these would be appreciated.

Thanks to everyone who's helped me to understand this very complicated subject!!!

Yes Rebecca.....post your vouchers to Jamtart :D:D:D:D:D

    Hee hee!!

The frizz ease john frieda range is mostly £3.XX so with the £3 voucher it is less that £1 to pay in most cases.

...i was too tight to pay over £1 for anything in the other ranges!!!

:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A

  • some people are writing about taking items back and getting refunds
i have loads of body buffers which i bought to get free botanics cream if i return them do i need a receipt and will they question the fact i got a free cream and so not refund me?
:j I sometimes give myself admirable advice, but am incapable of taking it.

Hello-yes i did try it the other day and it wouldn't go through for free. SA couldn't explain it, so I just let it go. Theoretically, it should work, but it doesn't
