Right, just back from my first proper Bootsing experience, with mixed success...

    First, I picked up

2 x Lip Shimmer Sun sticks
1 x No7 sparkle dust (reduced apparently but not by the same amount as the website)
    1 x Lee Stafford conditioner
some other items to take it over £5 (including Botanics bodybar &free moisturiser!)
.....And it worked - total to pay was just over £5; I paid 99p for the haircare and £1.50 for all the no7 bits together. :j

So, then I had my second lot of vouchers, so thought I'd get 2 of the suncare hair spritz and one of the no7 lipstick bags.
Took it to the till....wouldnt work! they wanted me to pay £7something once the £5+£3 vouchers were deducted, and when i queried if the offers had all gone in they said yes, the 3for2 had and i was paying for 1 suncare thing and the lipstick bag. So I told them I wanted the vouchers back and I'd come back another time when I'd calculated what I wanted again! :o

So, what was the problem the second time? Does it make a difference what order the items are scanned? Was it the lipstick bag, and so if I got a 'normal' no7 item, might it work?

I was so happy and confident after it worked first time, but what a knockback!

I will take some too and pay postage
many thanks for this if I am not too late

    cheers
  • There seems to be mixed success with the lipstick bag. I have had the burgundy/gold gift bag in all my 3-4-2's without problem. HTH! x

Thanks SuperNoodle - problem is, there aren't any of the burgundy bags left in that store, BUT there are in the smaller store down the road, but they don't have no7 suncare there! Dilemas dilemas  - get the burgundy bag with the points in for £1.50 or get 2 suncare items and a random no7 thing for the same price....I think I'll try again tomorrow with suncare and a different no7 item.

does anyone know if they offer therapy for bootsing?

there's no cure! (I MUST resist getting another mobile phone contract from them)

Buy one, get five free - BOGFF, doesn't quite have the same ring to it as BOGOF, but boy does it feel good! :-))

I bought some of the botanics too (shame we have no body bars in Leamington), just so that the SA wouldn't get TOO suspicious! She was very impressed with my savings total.

Wonder if it was the 'lipstick bag' that was the problem...my Boots wouldn't accept the £5 voucher against it????
Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly!
  • I confess that I have been getting the burgundy/gold bags in each No7 3-4-2 for the 250 point voucher inside lol. My points have been totting up quite nicely of late! x

Too many posts to read through............. Sorry, bit lazy, But wanted to share the fact that you can get FREE John Frieda Hairspray Moisture (moisture proof or something like that!) with the £3 voucher. Its £1.99 for 75ml bottle, but FREE with voucher.

Terms on back of voucher state that for spends under £3 no change will be given. As i don't need any more hair products (no, PLEASE NO!) and don't want to spend any money (tight? Maybe.) Its a good deal if you are of similar mind.

Scanned back few pages, but can't find where you girls are getting No7 240pts vouchers from. Please can anyone spill the beans?

Also, did think about what if you took a (already purchased) body bar into boots, and "bought" it again, and got free moisturiser?? You are effectively paying twice for it, so its not thievery, but yet getting another moisturiser for £1 (or nothing with 100pts voucher)
