I was wondering this myself!! Don't have the guts to try it tho...yet!!! :o
I'll give the six suncare items for £0.50 a try in the morning. I've no shame whatsoever, and don't mind putting it back on the shelf if it does not work! Last year got loads, and sold it just before the holiday season to raise money for a not-for profit organisation I'm involved with. Will report back later!
So many glitches, so little time...
  • Spent a long time in Boots today - bobbing up and down the aisles - seeing if anything was out of reach at the back of shelves etc.

Kept hearing this woman's voice on the loudspeaker...."Security Camera 4....Security Camera 2....."

As that guy used to say...."Do they mean me......they surely do"

  • Manchester boots was closed, due to health and safety (North west battered by gale force winds) when I eventually got off the bus, took me 4 hours from Salford to ashton, normally takes me 1hr.30 mins, anyway could not go bootsing :( I am having withdrawal :O

Oh my me too! Question for you Boots experts: Would 2x No7 Pre-Tan Gift sets (the ones for £6) plus a glossy locks spray trigger both the BOGOF and 342 loophole? I've only ever bought 1x gift set in each transaction. TIA!

Just been trying to figure out what would happen on the till if you bought in multiples of 2 and 3 of suncare items - By buying 6 items you would have bought enough items for 3 x bogof discounts and 2 x 3 for 2 discounts to be deducted from the total of the bill...hmm:

would it work out like this ???

    6 x £5.50 suncare items = £33.00
    minus 3 x £5.50 for bogofs
    minus 2 x £5.50 for 3 for 2's

Leaving £5.50 to pay after deductions

...then hand over your £5 no7 voucher to get all 6 items for 50p?

    The theory behind this is....

    No7 item £5.50
    No7 item £5.50 but free on bogof (- £5.50)
    No7 item £5.50 but free on 3 for 2 (- £5.50)
    No7 item £5.50 but free on bogof (- £5.50)
    No7 item £5.50
    No7 item £5.50 but free on bogof & free on 3 for 2 (- £11.00)

    Total to pay £5.50
    - £5 no7 voucher = 50p

    What do you think?

Edited: If you doubled up on quantities and bought 12 items that would leave £6 to pay after using £5 voucher plus you'd get another voucher & £3 hair voucher so you can start all over again :rotfl:

It did not work for me. I bought 3 No 7 Energising Face Creams from the No7 suncare range. 2 were 9.50 and 1 was £8.50. I got the bogof and 342, but the sa would not take the £5 voucher. She said it would not work on offers.

I also bought 3 x No 7 Shimmering Lotion, and again had to pay for 1, but another SA also would not take the £5 voucher.

I presume what I should have done was to buy 2 x suncare items and 1 x facial wipes, eg, and then that would have allowed me to use the £5 voucher. I will try this today.

Someone mentioned some 50p suncare items, I think. What are these.

Oh blimey, I will try (but its quite early and I am only on my first coffee!!!)

No 7 suncare products are Buy one Get One free
All No 7 products are 3 for 2
So, if you buy 2 suncare products you get one item free, then add another No 7 product to your basket and you get that free (because its 3 for 2) and if you have a £5 voucher you use that and can end up with 3 items for £1. (you pay for the most expensive item, minus the £5 voucher)

So, Glossy locks spray at £5.50 (part of suncare offer)
plus Shimmery eye and lip Screen at £5.50 (part of suncare offer)
plus a packet of No 7 wipes at £6 (to make up the 3 for 2 offer)
plus your £5 off No 7 voucher
EQUALS........ (drumroll) £1 !!!!!! YAY!!! and it works, I did it the other day. :D
