Etiquette of using Recruitment Agencies
Comments
-
Agencies are a necessary evil. They will view you as a commodity, nothing more, so you have to sell yourself to them. As far as the issue of what to say when they ask where else you've applied to, I always say that I have some other irons in the fire but I've been asked not to mention the name of the company. Usually when they tell me about a job they want to put me for, they ask me to keep the name of the client confidential, so at least they know I will keep it quiet for them!0
