Any Advice on Rowing Machines?!

In my efforts to embrace the 'new year, new you' idea, I have decided to invest in a rowing machine. I am happy to spend up to £150, or possibly £200 if it is really worth it.

Can anybody recommend any a good model for me please? Alternatively, can anybody tell me what I should be looking for in a good rower?

Thanks ever so much ... I will get vaguely fit one day! x
Gone ... or have I?

I would try buying 2nd hand, If you look on ebay and limit your search to within 25 miles you'll see items going quite cheaply. Got a cross/elipitical machine for £15 (from about £150).

Also if your exercise regime doesn't last long you won't lose very much if you resell.....
