hi can any one explain what the bounes means on endowment

It isnt the endomwent as such but a type of investment fund. It can be held on many different products.
Bonuses are either paid annually (reversionary) or final (terminal) or both. There may be special bonuses periodically. The amount of the bonus is based on the underlying investment returns of the investments held with a bit of smoothing applied. There is usually an element of guarantee to the some of the value as well depending on the type of plan you have.
Annual bonuses, once added, cannot be taken away. The final bonus changes all the time and isnt cast in stone until maturity.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
