I have just price matched the LeapFrog LeapPad Explorer at Mothercare for £61.94, with free delivery. Amazon.co.uk has this on offer with free delivery for £61.94. I will also be getting the £10 voucher posted to me.

I have posted this on the Mothercare Price match thread, but thought it might be missed and needed a separate thread on its own.

Well done OP, I posted a similar deal a few weeks back when amazon had it for £64 and got my voucher etc from mothercare but you got a better deal than me I highly recommend the leappad and hope you're little un likes it too

My 8 year old is hopefully getting a netbook this year (as soon as a good deal is posted on MSE;) ) And I was looking at one of these leappads for my 4 year old but cant seem to find out a great deal about it. Does anyone know do they come with some games preloaded or do you have to purchase seperate? Also does it all run through your home computer i.e download software and then transfer through the cable? thanks for any info x

It comes with 4 programs - an art studio, pet game, story studio and one you chose from a list of about 5 yourself.

Comes with a cd which installs some software but then lots of downloading and updates to do - took me about an hour to set it all up (and thats with a fast pc and broadband)

And it goes through batteries very quickly so get some good rechargable ones

Thanks for that looks like I will need to clear my computer out from the old leapfrog pens wee had and also the software for the mp3 singing bear otherwise I wont have a clue what I am using when it comes to putting new stuff on it. Thanks OP thats one off my daughters christmas list x

Thanks op, was uming and ahhing over this for ds, wanted to get him the Leapfrog Tag but not sure he'll need it if he has this?
