Query about the loan application process
Last month I applied for a loan to consolidate my debts. Since then I have had a credit agreement to sign and a page where someone has to witness my signature. I have also had to send off wage slips, utility bill and driving licence. The company phoned me yesterday to get some settlement figures on accounts outstanding and said that my case would be passed onto the lender beginning of next week.
I am now a tad confused (easily done!!) and unsure as to whether I have been accepted for the loan or if it can still all fall through

Who was it with?
Did you pay a fee, typically £45? If so you probably have not been accepted.
Do you have a copy of the agreement that says 'this is an agreement regulated by the consumer credit act... ' or something similar?

Its with GE Money obtained through a broker.
I didn't pay a fee but on the proposed credit agreement there is a £250 charge listed for application assessment & completion costs.
According to letter I got with the loan documents, I should have kept a copy of the credit agreement but I think i must have sent it back as I only have the two customer copies of the standard security form.£2019 in 2019 challenge:£50/2019
