Ginger advice please.

I am making Lemon Chicken tonight, and just realised the recipe requires fresh ginger...could ground ginger be used instead?

If it was me doing the recipe, I would use ground ginger instead. It's probably not as nice as fresh, but unless you're having a massive dinner party or trying to impress someone, I shouldn't worry too much:)0
