    £0 today
Collapsed yesterday afternoon and didn't really come round for 18 hours. Still feeling a bit groggy, so not been anywhere and not going anywhere as I have totally zero energy, a temperature coming and I am downing water like it's going out of fashion.
    Maybe I have rabies?

Wish you better earner! Poor you:grouphug: Take it easy xx

  • £12 for DS and I to go Ice Skating and £7.72 on lunch - I was very proud of myself cos we weren't joining the others for lunch but when we got to the Ice rink at 12noon it wasn't open until 2pm so they said shall we go for lunch now to kill time instead of after the skating, so we went. The adult meals were BOGOF so I told DS to have an adult meal instead of me paying for an adult one, then buyign akids one too. THen I noticed they did adult 'light meals' for £5.25 instead of the full price £7.75 - so I ordered two of those instead, which were plenty big enough :-)

So, total spend £19.72, which I'm very pleased with as we had a day out and a pub lunch!

That comment made me laugh Annie!

I am glad you are well because as we know, a lot worse things could happen! Keep your chin (and ears!!!) up and don't give it another thought - it's only circumstances and once the permanent pay kicks in, you will be fine :D

Hope the onions are going down well! ;) Thought of you when I picked some at Lidl earlier :p

Bless you AnnieStar, but thanks for sharing, you're very good, I'd have whippped out a card for an account I couldn't afford to spend on and then felt even worse, so well done you :T You've had short-term embarrassment, given your fellow DFWs a giggle and avoided long-term debt.

That's so true, well done Bobbly, I couldn't have put it better!!! :T :T :T

    Evening moozie and all :hello:

Popped to Tesco today for fruit and veg as Asda didn't have any yesterday  ended up buying some digital kitchen scales £15.97,DH made me do it  we have started our new year diet (very much needed) and I do not have any scales that weigh small enough,we also spent £12 on fruit and veg  so much for the half price at the moment on TV!

Still got a banging head,so am having a nice bath and early night, with a loooong lay-in in the morning :D hopefully feel better in the morning.

annie If that had been me in Tesco,I would have ran away and never gone back, well done for being strong enough to deal with it :A

    Well off for bath now

    LIH

    Hey LIH

Hope you feel much better by the morning or even sooner!

Are you following any particular diet? My stupid electronic scales take the most unusual bizarre batteries and they have run out. Too expensive to replace so may have to hun down some scales with ordinary batteries. Good luck with the dieting!

Take care and take it easy!

hi anniestar, if it's any comfort I don't think the Tesco person on the checkout would have cared in the slightest – it's the kind of job where you just put it through and don't remember afterwards!! I know cos I did it in my teens!

Starting weightwatchers,I know it costs, but really need to shift the excess baggage,5 stone  when did that happen  thought as I cook everything from scratch anyway,I won't buy any of their food and will reduce my intake,so the money for the meetings will come from the food budget ;)
The scales I bought take the square ones for the smoke alarms,so 72p for value one,not too bad :D
Not got to the bath yet,but will in a moment

Hello all! Well until about an hour ago it was a NSD, but we've just had a chinese take-away.....I know, I know - Moozie please hit me over the head with a big stick!! So we've spent £13 today. Bad, bad, very bad. :(

Should definitely be a NSD tomorrow!!

And Annie, good on you for not overspending today - I'm sure there was some short term embarassment, but well worth it to know that you didn't spend money you didn't have......you're an example to all of us! xxx

    Evening all!

An unexpected NSD for me today which was very much appreciated!

So, all in all, just 99p spent other than essential groceries (which also came in under my grocery challenge budget this week) and hoping for an equally successful week next week.
