Hi Everyone, I was wondering if anyone could suggest the best place to go to have new lenses put in my glasses?
I have only bought new lenses once and that was about 6 years ago so unsure as to who is the best/cheapest etc!!
Your thoughts would be appreciated xx

Try www.spex4less.com
You can ring them for free on 0800 169 1734.
I have used them a lot and they are very helpful. I usually speak to John, the owner, and tell him exactly what I need and then send them off. They are returned - perfect- in about three days.
I would suggest that you get the Free Prescription from D&A and have your eyes retested rather than replace the existing with 'Same as'.

The new lenses will probably cost you £15.00 inc."Unhappiness is not knowing what we want, and killing ourselves to get it."Post Count: 4,111 Thanked 3,111 Times in 1,111 Posts (Actual figures as they once were))Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.0 -

Glad to help.
I hope that they offered you the protected lenses with anti glare coating for free, if not ring again and ask that this be included AtNoExtraCost.
Also, forgot to mention that if you have a high prescription, that tey may be slightly thicker than your existing and you can pay extra for thiner lenses but I expect John would have advised you about that.
For £15 it's probably worth waiting to see what they are like."Unhappiness is not knowing what we want, and killing ourselves to get it."Post Count: 4,111 Thanked 3,111 Times in 1,111 Posts (Actual figures as they once were))Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.0
