What has happened sunhinestar is alot of us used to post deals with coupons on the grabbit , so people could grab a bargain
BUT some of the coupon deals got misused which is making ( especially Tesco's ) reluctant to take internet coupons so it was spoiling it for all of us
Plus of course people were clearing the shelves so when others ( like me ) who came along with our one coupon couldn't even get any because they were all gone :eek:
Therefore if the coupon deals are just on the coupon board they are exposed to less people / maybe less open to being abused ( yet of course many will still look on coupon board & abuse the offers )
I like the fact that on the coupon chat board most people are helpful and friendly and they don't abuse the coupon offers but just help each other out as it should be and usually is on the grabbit as well
So don't be disheartened , its actually not your fault at all that coupon mania is taking over now!!! :rotfl:
I think with the recession that people are panic buying as it IS a worrying time for us all , so it gives a feeling of security to stock up on these deals as if we have a rough week or even month at least we know we can get our washing done ... and EAT ( pasta and sauce @ least!
)
This is perfectly understandable with a recession on BUT pure greed / taking it way too far is a different matter and others miss out in the end who simply need to save money on their weekly grocery shop or want to stock up on a few extras in case of a bad week
These are worrying times financially and its hard not to panic buy / stock up on bargains so we can relax for a good while , but that is different to blatant greed which is what I think they were trying to dispell / discourage by only putting coupons on the coupon board
:) x
Stay with us sunshinestar & this would have been an excellent offer if could be used in Asda and people would be thanking you then and majority would have ENJOYED the deal , not taken the **** out of it but there are always the few that do!!!0 -

Casp1997 is on a crusade to stop vouchers and coupons being posted on the grabbit board, well you are casp1997 admit it;) I understand why you are getting annoyed but their is a way to say things and intentionally or not you are coming across a little rude and upsetting people and putting them off posting. Your case is not being helped when people go back on the voucher board and comment about "Morons" that are posting on the grabbit board, even though I know that wasnt your comment. You will never completely stop people posting vouchers on grabbit but perhaps if you were a little more tactful people would understand why not to do it. Instead the reverse will happen and people will just post them to wind you up.This is not having a go at you, but just trying to explain in my opinion what's happening.;) Me personally I use both boards as I find them both great and friendly, until yesterday! and I don't mind where vouchers are posted.Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0

I think casp wants to be a forum moderator ( in the making )
Just my opinion on how it comes across
;)
Yes there are some serious issues going on re coupons being misused eg using them against different products to the one stated on coupon , using them simply 'against their shopping' without even buying the item & printing multiple vouchers with the same bar code when it isn't allowed ( sometimes it is ) BUT its still best NOT to lose your sense of humour in these matters , otherwise it just comes across as anal , so its best to lighten up a bit tbh!
