Additional Work - But which?

I currently am a Betterware Representative and am thinking that as I already deliver catalogues and am used to that type of work that I should think of working for another company alongside.. After all is easier to post and collect two books.

My question is tho which other companies would anyone recommend to run alongside it. I keep looking at Avon but I already know for the area where I deliver their is alot have Avon which means there is a rep in that area. Does Avon run by areas?

Alternaltiveley I have found a handbag supplier and could set up my own brochure/website type company but this will take a little longer and I ideally need to start something quicker

Any advice would be much appriciated. I work fulltime but am free evenings and weekends.

  • Hi

As far as im aware some companies have rules about working for two DSA's. Some won't let you work for them and another company. Probably best to check your contract with betterware.

  • I am a consultant for Scentsy and they allow you to run two business alongside each other as long as it doesn't conflict with their products obviously.
I don't do the home parties due to time but do one on one sales via catalogues(like Avon) and through online sales also.

They also don't restrict to areas, you are free to work as and when.
I had done Avon previously and was allocated two streets ,it wasn't booming lol

I did a shopping catalogue many years ago, only did it for a month before xmas and then didn't bother anymore with it as I wasn't impressed with the quality of the products I was having to deliver to people. Then tried Avon after somebody knocked on my door asking me if I wanted to sign up. Again I didn't sell much with this either. I now do Scentsy and really enjoy selling their products as I love them so much. You need to check with Betterware first though to make sure you are allowed to sell two things at once, and then look for one that you think you would enjoy selling most. Good Luck x x x

  • Hi acebanditcat :)
What about O r i f l a m e? Similar to Avon but no territories so you can distribute catalogues where you please, higher commission and free products when you hit certain sales :) There are no targets to be met but incentives in place for all consultants :) It's also free to join :)
Hope that helps and good luck :)
