13/01 - what small DFW/MSE thing will you do/have you done today?

Good morning folks,

I hope no one minds me starting this thread today but I am up and about early this morning due to Saturday being the day I get up with DS! Tomorrow is my lie in...

So anyway, today is a busy day. We are decorating the hall DFW style, using leftover wallpaper and paint from when the kitchen was decorated a couple of years ago. The only thing we will need to buy is wallpaper paste. Our first job is to finish stripping the old wallpaper off. So other than shopping already budgeted for, today will be a NSD as we will be at home all day making a mess!:rotfl:

Have a great day everyone

I'm off to do my Joanna Hall dvd - I can't afford the gym so this is the next best thing. I'm also making soup for the week and have just done my pigsback, quidco clickthroughs and one yougov survey. I think I will spend alot of today cleaning and tidying but we may go for a MS day out - I got a 50 walking tours of London book so we may do that (it's a bit grey though!) to get out of the house. As it was payday yesterday I will be writing out some cheques to send off to pay off some debt and get that total lower! Hope everyone has lots of success.

I'm working a seven hour overtime shift at time and a half later. That will also stop me going to the pub this evening (since I don't finish til 11 and will be too tired to go out). I'm just off to find some food to take with me to eat at work, so hopefully, fingers crossed, a no spend day too.

Tomorrow I'm meeting my mum at the supermarket. She had an operation and can't lift the bags now, so I meet her there and give her a lift home with the shopping. The bonus is that I can save a bit of money if there are any items we both need on special offer, such as buy one get one free, or in a multipack, because we buy them, pay half each and split the items.

I also get a free Sunday lunch for my trouble :D

Today I have done a ciao survey for £1.

I have also done some work on an EBAY listing, I *think* I may have agreed on a Buy It Now price for an item with someone (all above board!) so am waiting to see...I really hope so anyway!

I received a cheque from Royal mail for £5.70 because they didnt deliver item by guaranteed time. However, I got to post 5 more parcels today, but it is stuff I sold on ebay.

I had a NSD today and made a fab "leftovers" meal out of odds and ends in the fridge and freezer.

Also checked through all our bank accounts carefully because we have been cloned and was pleased to see that all my plans and lists are making a small difference!

Pigsback, put some fruit in the dehydrator that would have normally been thrown away to dry out for packed lunches next week. Left overs for dinner and tea, housework all day and haven't spent anything :D
One day I might be more organised...........
