    Christ! i find it hard to believe that a dyson will last 5 years!
    mine and my mums broke just after 2 years!!!

    thanks for the post. However if im not mistaken, these same models were going for around 100pounds in sainsburys not too long ago. about 2 months back. I was very tempted to buy one, just because the dyson gaurantee is so good. However I prefer the cyclone (cylinder) ones!

    Argos have a dyson dc08, which is the cylinder type, for 124.99. (Half price)
    I prefer the cylinder ones as imo they are easier on stairs and edges.
