Or, as the flyer in my local Tesco said "Fresh Chicken's". I nearly went to CS about that....Val.0

No, they were packaged chickens with stickers saying B1G1F and in my store they were on a display section at the end of an aisle. I did notice btw that the ladies that were picking the online shopping orders were not chosing these chickens + free one, but the other unstickered chickens from the other display area. I did think that a tad unfair tbh, but it could be an in store offer only I suppose.Val.0 -
Have got one of these in the oven as I type, impressed with the size for the price. Also bought plums for 50p (fruit crumble for pudding) and got the doughnut bags at three for £1!! Think I will be well satified by the end of the day:D0

Bought four of these yesterday and roasted one for dinner. Nice tasty chicken with a good amount of meat on it. We'll have a stir fry tonight with the left overs, plus chicken soup tomorrow. Not bad for a £2 chicken I thought, so got another two today. I'll freeze one whole and joint down the other four plus make a big pan of well reduced stock from the bones. So that's £12 I've spent on six chickens and that's most of the meat bill covered for the next month. Very good value.Val.0
