Why have I been taxed £3.80 more..?

I know it's only £3.80, but every penny counts!
I'm salaried so my gross pay is always the same, and likewise my net pay is too. Yet this month, I paid £3.80 more? My tax code is exactly the same.
Can anyone think of a reason why this may have happened?

There are several possible reasons, tax code the same but changed basis ie non-cumulative to cumulative, crossing tax bands, tax band crossed in the past and now falling back below it, an error or to correct an error.
If you want to know exactly what has happened then you will have to give your tax code and basis along with taxable gross and tax paid for each pay period this tax year.0
