Parents Anniversary gift ideas?

Hello all,

My parents are off on a three week cruise for their anniversary (I think it's 34th?) and I'd love to give them a lil' something to take away with them and open whilst they're away. My mind is totally blank on what to do! A friend suggested a box of Ann Summers lube, needless to say, I felt a bit queasy!

Any thoughts and ideas would be greatly appreciated!

xx:)

  • Can't think of anything off the top of my head. Can you give us a bit more info - what are their interests, what countries will they visit, what's your budget?

I did lol at your friend's suggestion, btw! :D

  • Can you contact the Cruise ship & ask them to arrange a bottle of bubbly & some flowers / chocs / a card in their room?
I did this once for my parents & they loved it!
  • there's some personalised gift frames over at sayitframes.co.uk
  • @White_Sapphire - Being honest, they're pretty darn boring! They both have different interests so this time of year is always a pain in the !!!! to come up with ideas! I'd say upto £100 really, for me, its a hell of a lot, but my parents have done so much for me!

@RainbowDrops - I LOVE this idea! I never would have thought of it! Thank you so much!

@pjzx Thank you for your idea! This seems like a fab present for mum for xmas! Shes always rabbiting on about how she would like a photo of my brother and I and a personalised frame would be a perfect addition!

Thank you all so much for replying to me, I'll attempt to gather information about their cruise! xx
  • I agree with rainbowdrops a nice surprise on the cruise like flowers or champagne would be lovely
What about trying for an upgrade aswell just send a really soppy email to cruise company saying its their anniversary and how they are so looking forward to it and how wonderful parents they are etc, then ask if is it possible for them to upgrade them or even make a fuss of them on the actual date
My sister and I went to NY for her 40th and I emailed the Hotel saying it was her 40th we were so excited etc and we got upgraded to a suite:j:j
If you dont ask you dont get:)
