RBS Loan Process

Hi Guys. My mum has applied for a £3,000 loan. She has received the agreement and blue section to sign and send back. She's a bit of a worrier and is now wondering if it will be accepted. If she has received the agreement is it looking good for her? I've told her to be patient but she has plans now set for the money

Thanks guys

  • Why would they send out (presumably a CCA agreement) a form for her to sign if they did not want to lend to her?

Just make sure she does not start spending it until the monies are in her account.
  • Because the letter says 'final checks' and you've passed the initial assessment stage. She just wondered. Thanks for the reply.

That's not what you said in first post, You said an agreement was sent ..... so now I am confused.
Does the 'agreement' say it is regulated by Consumer credit act?
If so I would say she will get the money.

Final checks mean the AVU, search the forum for Natwest AVU (RBS in another name)

  • Yes the agreement was sent out with the loan details etc. The final checks bit was on the welcome letter. Sorry to confuse you, probably how I worded it.
