OR trying to pull a fast one?

I told the OR today via email that I am now working full time. He proceeded to reply sending me four forms, one of which is entitled "Income Payments Order Questionnaire". Have I got something wrong, or is the first stage of our conversation supposed to be about an IPA, not IPO?

No. That is the usual form and the standard wording on it.

It used for all IPAs, even though it does say IPO on it.

They are not trying to pull a fast one.

OK thanks Fermi. The form has much fewer boxes available for my expenditures than I actually spend...what should I do about this?

Also, I cannot fill in the form adequately until I've actually been paid a month and worked out my expenses....what do I do?

It has an "other essential payments" box that you can itemise and total them in.

If there is not room, then just put the total and itemise on a separate sheet.

Or I suppose you could submit your own I&E breakdown template.

I would send back what you can but contact your OR and explain that you can't provide all the needed info just this second.

Generally the OR's staff don't have meetings about pulling a fast one.

Why cant you fill in the form until the end of the month, are you working on comission or something?

    1) Because I haven't been paid once yet

    2) Because I have just moved house and thus don't know what my genuine expenditures from this address will be.

    3) Because I now might be able to keep my vehicle, which will change everything in terms of my monthly outgoings.

Also bear in mind it may take a couple of pay periods untill you payed the correct amount, due to use of emergancy tax codes in the beginning.
