Dare2b 70%off

Just ordered a ski jacket for £12 as a winter coat for my daughter, they have quite a few bargains on there snow clearance and summer sale
This code by lil_me took 10% off, but didn't take the delivery off, not sure why. Also 6% cashback via Quidco so cashback may be available too.
I may be worrying too much but after last winter I want to make sure we are all cosy;)
Booo!!!

My husband has the trackdown jacket which is fine as a general outdoor winter coat in milder October, November and Feb, March weather. Personally, I would not say it is thick enough to keep you warm for a skiing trip as it is not that well insulated to cope with the minus temperatures.

Thanks for that bluecow, I will take a look at some of the other jackets instead.

  • Hope you got something Tiff, I wouldn't know what to recommend, although winter here last year was bad enough.

  • For the ski trip you can always compensate by adding further layers underneath the jacket, bearing in mind its a very physical activity. Dressing in layers traps air and keeps you warm in the way double glazing works by trapping air. The velcro strapping is great on the sleeves. When you fall its usualy the case you fall forward arms out. Snow loves just rushing up your sleeves. Keeping a tight seal round glove and jacket is really important to keep your arms warm and dry. If it keeps you dry, thats the main thing. I found as a kid when I went skiing, getting wet was the main reason I was cold. Gloves that extend well past the wrist are a God send if they extend over the jacket sleeve. Its the best way of keeping the snow out, which gets in, melts then chills you.

Just to say that yesterday I was going to order some things from the dare2b sale for my son. As i was unsure of a size for something i left the order until this morning. The coat i ended up ordering had gone down by a further £6 since yesterday but the original coat i was looking at had increased in price as had the waterproof trousers and jacket?!?
TB10 no longer working and couldn't find any working codes anywhere else but as i saved £6 on the coat, £3.95 delivery didn't seem too bad!
