Aaaaaah halifax

Hi

Have been having fun and games with halifax, I had signed onto a 3 yr stepped fixed rate, but had misplaced the paper work so was unable to check what the rate was going to be in November. I rang them up in June and was told that I was going onto SVR which I just ignored as was wrong(signed up for 3 years to end Nov 2012) they sent me a letter to say the same thing term to end Nov 2011!.
Well a couple of weeks ago i lost my job so phoned them up to see about going on interest only and was told that my payments would be going down in November as i was going onto SVR I asked them to check there records as that was wrong which they did but she still said the same SVR rate. Well today I phoned up the local branch and she told me it was SVR I asked her to check it as I was still in for fixed rate which she did and said yes you are right. I asked for the compliants number as it has taken me months to be told my new fixed rate and was not happy with the service !

Well she has just called me back to tell me that there seems to be some mix up as I am down for my fixed rate to end this year in some department but in an other I am still down for fixed rate !

They are going to call me tomorrow to tell me which is correct !
Maybe i should have stayed quiet about it all and waited to see what was happened !!! Fixed rate 5.99% or SVR at 3.50% I know which one I will be on.
