NPI / Pearl Annuity Payment

Options
I have a self employed with profits pension with NPI
I was 60 in July and wanted to take it with a 25% lump sum.
The amount offered was slightly below what was guaranteed and when I queried I was told "ah you need to make payments until the anniversary of the policy - 5 more payments - so if you send us a check you will then get the full guaranteed amount - we will send you revised forms with a request for this one off payment".

The forms arrived and now the payment requested was for 6 monthly payments (taking me to January 2012) but I sent a cheque and accepted it.

Now they tell me their IT department is struggling to apply the payment and cannot work out how to do it so although the cheque was cashed by them on 9th August - they tell me the money is in their Suspense Account and they are waiting for IT to resolve the problem.

I ring them every other day to be told "it is a high priority and we are working on it"

This could be going on like this in another month - how can I put a rocket up them??????

Also the policy clearly states and has done for years "at aged 60" nothing at all about anniversaries - are they having me over?
