Isnt it already 4 years old for the first mot in NI?0

Yes - first MOT at 4 years, and then every year.0

Mot needs to be every year and not every other year.0

A quick google threw up more info, e.g. thisismoney.co.uk. It only mentions changing it to every 2 years, but this is only a proposal at the minute to bring the UK into line with other European countries, not an EU directive. Nothing mentioned about requiring the first MOT at 3 years instead of 4.0

MOT in NI is 4 years first, then every year- haven't heard of any changes. They'll definitely not make it every other year I think with the amount of revenue it's bound to bring in!0
