Is this a glitch ? Always ultra @ tesco

I dont know if I should post this , but I was in tesco today and I bought 2 packs of "always ultra normal plus with wings" on special offer @ 2x for £3.00 .
Always Ultra Normal With Wings 14'S

Any 2 for £3.00 valid from 31/8/2011 until 27/9/2011



When I got to the till , I handed in a coupon for
£1.00 off always ultra ,that I printed a while back (thinking this will take the total down to £2) .

Once I left the store I checked my receipt
and the always ultra is not on there at all ,
and there is no mention of the coupon giving a £1 reduction.
Yet I watched the lady scan these items.
So I got them for free :j.

I was a rush to go back in and try it again,
does this sound like a glitch ?

my mother in law just tried for me and said she was charged £3 , so doesnt seem to be a glitch , sorry .
