Also check amazon.co.uk (loads of marketplace sellers)
    dabs.com
    ebuyer.com
    crucial.com for RAM
    insight.com
scan.com (especially the 'Today Only' section)
pcworld.co.uk - yes, they might surprise you, but lots is overpriced.
  • I know you state from online but have you searched to see if you have any local pc fairs you could goto?
I have found @ them you can have a try @ haggling for better price

    It's scan.co.uk

All those sites are good. The 'Today Only' section on Scan usually has lots of components on offer at the weekend (or at least it used to when I bought them).

Remember to factor in the cost of postage to your figures, sometimes it's better to buy the slightly more expensive component from a website you are buying other things from to save on postage.

Also check different sites for different components, as it can be if a retailer sells a lot of one thing he will probably have negotiated a better discount for it

That website is good to see benchmarks of various components so you can get the best value for money.

    http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/

That website is good for reviews of components.

Some brilliant information on that website including a guide for building a PC. Also the forum there has some really knowledgeable people that will help you with any queries and will tell you if all the components you have selected are compatible etc.
