Ok, what a saga this is going to turn into!!
Today I received my voucher booklet in the post. The booklet contains a number of vouchers for the Food Doctor web products, redeemable online. It also has a number of barcoded vouchers (£1 and 50p's) for use in supermarkets (all usable in Tesco, most usable in Waitrose, some usable in Sainsburys and Boots). The disapointment was that these supermarket vouchers only total £8. The website and book state that these would be worth £20. I have had two phone conversations with Food Doctor about this today as there is no mistaking what they have said. I have asked them to send me a further booklet as this will at least give me £16 worth of the £20 promised. At first they tried to wriggle out of it but I persisted, now they are going to speak to the manager and call me back!
I hate making a fuss but won't give up on this (not where vouchers are involved)!
Will post back when I hear more!;)0 -
Ha... I love making a bit of a fuss when it'll ultimately end in my favour
Cheers for the update :rotfl:0 -
Bah... I too got the vouchers with only £8 of them redeemable in a supermarket. Sent off an email last night and got this reply:Thank you for your note. Whilst in principal you are correct owing to the fact that our products are not listed in every retail outlet, we decided it best to offer a web based solution for part of the redemption. Therefore, we have provided two vouchers worth a total of £12.50, which can redeemed on our website for a Starter Pack and an Everyday pack, which are also priced at lower than their combined recommended retail prices.
I do hope you agree that this is a worthwhile solution and one you will avail yourself of? We also hope that you will enjoy our products?
Despite my previous eagerness, I'm not sure I'll push the matter, £8 is still good, and the book made a great gift

Same here Cookie! £8 is still a profit of £3 so I'm going to live with it!;)0
