Well ... I thought I would join up to see what the freebies were, but it looks like it's just a MySpace type rip off with forums that list freebies you can apply for.
  • LOL how do you know that the freebies are in the forum if you havent joined as only members know the freebies are in the forum

Anyway its a lovely site with 10000s of nice new mums, its a great place to chat and share advice and its nothing like MySpace.

erm ... as I said I thought I would join to see what the freebies were, so in other words I joined up & looked. It is implied before joining that you directly get freebies, instead it is simply a forum telling you were you can request freebies from and it didn't even have as many freebies listed as this one.

As for being nothing like MySpace, a concerted effort has been made to pretty much duplicate the look when it comes to the top navigation menu etc.

Somehow I suspect this John1975's own forum & he is advertising it here, it is not a freebie in it's own right & therefore posting a link to it here is merely advertising.
  • No look again in what you wrote, you said i quote:

And again its nothing like myspace totally different layout and everything and yes its a social network but for new mums only.

And no its not my site i am a member of the site, it looks like you have a issues with newmums.com have you been banned!

I'm sure it's a great chat forum but would suspect that most freebies have already been posted on MSE at some point. (If you spot any new ones - get them on here!) ;)

For those who might not want to sign up to another forum, there are a few baby freebie threads that might be useful on MSE, including these ones:

Baby Clubs that send out freebies

    Hooded Baby Towel

    Simple Baby Wipes (Limited supplies)

I do not have issues with the site itself, just think it's irrelevant to this section of MSE. As for being banned, I only joined for the very first time yesterday after seeing your recommendation lol
  • Thanks for the links jo_b
