First baby on the way in February so starting to pay attention to this sort of thing but not much clue yet.

Are these better than supermarket own-brand? Is there a difference? Had a quick check and Asda's own ones (not smart price) work out cheaper so not sure whether to stock up now or not...

Supermarket own brand ones are fine although I have found the Asda ones a bit dry in the past, the Pampers ones are nice and wet, good for cleaning messy bottoms!! Also they vary in how easy they are to get out of the packet with one hand (without a million coming out at once!!) When my 2 were tiny I used cotton wool and water for nappy changes at first but wipes while I was out with them. I wouldn't buy loads of one brand until you know you like them. Tesco and Sainsburys own are good. One thing to watch out for is how many are in a pack as the branded ones like Pampers now have only 56 in a pack whereas others have 72.

I prefer the sensitive wipes to the Johnson & Huggies wipes...

Can't believe that you now have to spend £20 for free delivery to store.... Rather mean....

but thought it worth posting here to that I've just found boxes of 9 packs of pampers sensitive wipes for £3.50 in asda this morning!

There seemed to be plenty (I bought 2, but loads left).

    Hope this helps someone.

Thank you. I have included the 6 packs from Boots in an on-line order, but there is a delivery charge. Do you know if this offer still available in store?

Hi Congrats on Baby. these are a good price so would buy a few, however i would say dont buy hundreds of packets, as you never know baby may be allergic to them (even though they are sensative) my friends baby can only have cotton wool and water.

Also keep an eye on Amazon for Nappies, i know they have good deals on at the moment for Newborn nappies with free delivery.
Also join all the baby clubs, Tesco - sainsburys - emma's diary - argos - asda - there are quite a few some i have forgotten.
