Halifax online morgage balance jumping around

Does anyone else have a Halifax mortgage which they check online?
My balance seems to go all over the place, jumping up and down by approx £75-100 every few days or so. (This is not the amount of interest I'm paying!)
When I had a nationwide mortgage, you could check online each day, and it would just increase by the expected daily interest rate (reducing whenever a payment was made).
Does this happen for anyone else using Halifax, or can anyone explain how the online balance works for the Halifax mortgage?
(I'm not worried about this, I just want to understand it!)

Data was has been transferred from HBOS onto Lloyds computer system last weekend. They are still resolving issues following the transfer.0

Ah that's why my balance dropped by an unexpected £1354 yesterday but is back to nomal today!0

I know they are having problems as I can only access my first page of transactions today. Normally I can go back 2-3 pages.0
