edited 13 September 2011 at 9:25PM in It's gone, but was it any good?
I've just noticed on Hotukdeals that Glavya is £9 at Asda. I've just been to Tesco tonight and was given a till spit for £3 off Glavya. At Tesco it is £17.25 so if I bought it there and then entered the details on price checker would I get it at the Asda price minus the till spit=£6?
I suppose the only way to find out is to have a go and if it doesn't work I would have to return it for a refund. It would be a good extra christmas present for my parents at that price!

Grabbit is listed in the forum list as

    Quick! Grabbit while you can
For reporting hot bargains, not requesting them

so it's not the right board to ask this on.

edit: ah, I see you've now changed the post to make it an offer. Fair enough :)
  • You would pay £14.25 using your till spit, then I think you would get a JTD voucher of £8.25 as that's how much cheaper it is in Asda. Don't think the price checker takes into account what vouchers you use, which would indeed make it £6. Allthough I could be wrong ;) Quite a good buy that, might be tempted to pick some up myself :D

odd how someone who has hardly posted during their six years as a member is telling others how to use the forum?very odd

Thanks you clearly got the point of my post unlike wannasave.
I posted it on the grabbit board in case others had received a till spit the same as I had and they may not have known it was on offer at Asda so I have to disagree I think this is exactly the right place to post!!
  • It is the wrong board but can confirm that Mr T do price match on Glayvar (used the price check on this a couple of months or so ago).

Till spit should just show as a voucher so very good chance you will get this at £6 (if still at £9 via asda when you buy). This is an excellent price!

jeez, you don't have to post every freaking day/month/year to be able to read and understand how to use this forum!

Whatever.....I can't be a**sed justifying myself to those who can't keep their neck wound in.

Which is why I put it on the grabbit board so that others could "grabbit while asda had it on offer at £9!!"

Great spot OP. My nan and grandad absolutely love Glayva. Might have to take a trip to the big Mr T's this week =].
